British chemists David Klenerman and Shankar Balasubramanian have received Spain's highest science award, recognizing their impactful research in DNA sequencing.
The award, announced on Wednesday, also honors French biophysicist Pascal Mayer for his contributions in the same field.
Their collective work has played a crucial role in addressing challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
